Writing has always been my thing—and I’ve been lucky enough to build one heck of a career out of it.

Over the years I’ve written for training organisations, online publications and advertising agencies. Throughout it all, I saw mediocre content fail and quality work rise to the top.

It’s shaped my own approach to content, one that combines research and design with engaging writing. In short, I look at what users are searching for and give them a better answer than any competitor out there.

Who am I?

Every writer has a story. Mine started with a passion for language.

I loved reading and writing stories ever since I was a little kid. And it was no surprise to my parents when I ended up going to Deakin University for a Bachelor of Arts in Professional and Creative Writing.

From there, I turned my passion into a career. I started out writing coursework for the Alffie Training Organisation and tired my hand at online articles before I finally found my groove as a content writer in an advertising agency.

Over three years and one million words later, I’ve amassed a bunch of skills that make crafting high-quality content a breeze. Now a freelancer, I’m ready and willing to give your business the boost it needs in traffic and rankings!

Good writing is about clarity—everything else flows from that. Sure, I can sprinkle in a bit of wit, but I really pride myself on crafting sentences that are easy to read.

I can even make technical details and legal minutia clear and simple. If I can do it for the insurance industry, I’m quite sure I can do it for anyone!

SEO

With training as an SEO content strategist and a course in Advanced SEO from Simplilearn under my belt, I’ve developed a good understanding of keyword research, on-page optimisation and how to set up everything from XML sitemaps to schema markup.

It’s just as well. By knowing my way around SEO, I can find out exactly what users want to read and position your website as their go-to resource.

RESEARCH

Whether I’m giving customers a rundown of the Janka rating for their Blackbutt floors or how much the most popular car models in Australia cost to ensure, I’ve got a knack for pouring through statistics, data and studies.

It helps me draw out the insights that other writers might miss and create some truly insightful content.
